The airport was purposely built to welcome the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Built by the famous architect Norman Foster since the year 2003 to 2008. 3.25 kilometers long and 98 hectares of floor area (equivalent to 170 football fields). This is the largest airport terminal in the world!
