Europe Launches Jules Verne

One of the biggest spacecraft Europe has launched from Guiana, France. Unmanned aircraft was launched into orbit with a mission to send astronauts on the need for the space station snake.

"We started the real adventure," said Director General of the European Space Agency or the European Space Agnecy (ESA), Jean-Jacques Dourdain, as quoted by MSN, Sunday (09/03/2008).

The plane was scheduled to be docked cruise to the space station on 3 April. Spacecraft is sending food, fuel and spare parts for the astronauts living in space stations.

Spacecraft called Jules Verne, was launched with the help of an Ariane 5 rocket launcher to 200 miles from the earth's surface. UAV Technician Jules Verne says, ATV capable of carrying nine tons of cargo after an hour apart after the launch of an Ariane rocket.

The rocket, called Jules Verne, a name taken from the French science fiction writer who lived in the 19th century. This rocket is a prime model of the Automatic Transfer Vehicle (ATV) that Europe dedication to the success of the ISS program.
